Who We Are

Martin Recruitment Inc. is a boutique recruitment agency that specializes in connecting great people within Accounting & Finance. Founded in Edmonton, AB, by Francisco Martin, Martin Recruitment Inc. is one of the fastest-growing Accounting & Finance recruitment agencies in Western Canada.

At Martin Recruitment, we’re not interested in filling roles as fast as possible so that we can collect a fee and move on to our next client. Instead, we aim to build lasting relationships with our partners so that we can serve them to the best of our ability on a long-term basis. We stand by this approach because we believe that the cornerstone of a good hire is genuine care for the candidates and employers involved.

Meet Our Team

Giving Back

Today, Martin Recruitment Inc. is a fast growing business in the heart of Edmonton that works hard to serve its partners and give back to the community as it grows.

Our commitment to the community goes beyond business; Francisco, a first-generation Cuban immigrant to Canada, strongly believes in charity. When he first came to Canada, his family relied on organizations like Hope Mission and The Mustard Seed to help them get on their feet. These experiences instilled in him a strong belief in giving back. For that reason, as the business grows, so does Martin Recruitment's contributions and partnerships with charitable organizations.

Questions & Answers

What happens after I reach out to a recruiter?

Once you've reached out, the first step is for us find out how we can best support you. Whether you're a hiring manager or a job-seeker, we will ask you questions to understand what type of solution is best suited for your unique situation. If you're a job-seeker, this generally leads into a discussion of your skills, and experience. If you're a hiring manager, this generally leads into a discussion of your current or upcoming hiring needs.

How long will it take a recruiter to find me a position?

The answer to this question varies greatly depending on the candidate and skillset. Some candidates are placed in under a week, while others can take several months. It's important to understand that recruitment agencies do not themselves create new positions, our openings

reflect our client's hiring needs and the demand within the job market at a given time.

Do job-seekers pay for this service and do agencies deduct money from my pay?

NO! There are no circumstances in which a recruitment agency is legally permitted to ask a candidate for financial compensation for their services. Agencies do not deduct anything from your pay outside of standards deductions like taxes, EI, WCB, etc. Our services are completely funded by the employer's that we hire for.

Why should I work with a recruiter?

There are many reasons why you should work with a recruiter! Working with a recruiter can streamline your job search, provide you with personalized guidance and coaching, as well as connect you with off-market positions that are not available by traditional job-search methods. Beyond that, recruiters often have established relationships with hiring managers, enabling them to advocate for their strongest candidates.

Do you hire for industrial or skilled-trades positions?

No. We primarily hire for Accounting & Finance, or other back-office professional positions within IT, Administration, or Customer Support. If you're interested in warehousing, general labour, skilled trades, or heavy-equipment operations, feel free to reach out to a member of our team and we can introduce you to other local agencies that specialize in those areas.
